The speculation surrounding this year's gaming ceremony has been intense, especially after host Geoff Keighley posted an enigmatic photo of a desert monolith. The secret has been revealed. Larian Studios is working on a fresh Divinity game.
Titled simply Divinity, the game was debuted with a audacious trailer packed with striking imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to scenes of revelry and the very unleashing of hell.

The Legacy of Divinity
The Divinity series is widely praised and many say it kicked off the contemporary revival of complex computer role-playing games. These games are known for rich lore, player agency, and deep class systems—elements that recently were perfected in games like Baldur's Gate 3.
While its setting is traditional swords and sorcery, what really distinguishes Divinity apart is the unprecedented level of trust given to the player.
In contrast to modern RPGs have simplified options, Divinity is brimming with unique possibilities you can achieve with a particular class or origin with a specific history of choices.
The series is also notoriously flexible, enabling players to improvise both in story and combat. Most missions can be completed in multiple ways, often in unexpected fashion.
